Anonymous · 1 year agoThis looks really interesting, but I'm concerned about what the image quality will be like. I keep reading bad reviews of the EF-S 17-85, and I can't imagine that this lens will be better.

Anonymous · 1 year agobad reviews of the EF-S 17-85? I use that lens to shoot most of the weddings I do and get excellent results. This new lens has even better image stabilization and since it is f/3..5 - f5.6 versus the 17-85 which is f/4 - f/5.6 it will allow you to shoot in much darker settings than the 17-85 will.
