  • I just don't see when this is actually usefull? Unless you are doing 20 portraits in a row.
  • Tethered shooting is very popular in a studio setting. This allows you to instantly see on a big monitor the color and focus and also means that the images are already on your computer instead of having to download them later. Often, when doing studio shoots you may have an art director, stylist, and other people and being able to show them instant feedback is very valuable. For myself when shooting models I will use tethered shooting so that the model can see the pictures immediately, this helps beginning models to help refine their looks and poses.
  • i am shooting with a canon rebel xt and using windows vista. i cannot (for whatever reason) get my camera to be connect to dslr remote pro. i can download photos and everything but use remote tools. please help.
  • Usually what happens when you connect the usb port to your computer you are given a choice of two modes (this happens on my 30D at least) and one mode is for transferring files and the other is for tethered shooting.
  • Nice review. Excellent gadget to put into my wishlist :)
