It's nice to see somebody else addressing practical concerns like computing horsepower, a point that you rarely see addressed. I had to fork out another 2 grand on a top of the line PC (overclocked and loaded with so much horsepower it treats those 21 megapixel files as if they were little GIFs grabbed off of the internet), something I didn't entirely anticipate when I first started editing on my old Mac G4 computer. I've had the 5D mark ii for many months now and in retrospect the best aspect of the camera has been the stellar high iso performance. Aside from that, the pictures taken and printed from my rebel XSi are of relatively the same caliber quality - they're both great. You hear many wise people say that it's the operator of the camera that makes great photos, not the camera - and I can now say that it's very true. BTW, I do wedding photography also, and I agree on all of the points you made in your review.

Re: Conversation with Jamie Pflughoeft about Pet Photography

I can see the point about not wanting to train all of your local competition. Although I do not subscribe to that philosophy myself, it is everyone's right to decide how they will run their business. I don't feel that her not wanting to teach people from her area was enough to not want to have her on the show. I just personally felt I wasn't going to judge her on that even though I do not have that same policy myself.

Re: Conversation with Jamie Pflughoeft about Pet Photography

I thought the podcast was good but I was disappointed that you had someone on your show who is so diametrically opposed in theory to sharing with her local community.
