I listened to the Podcast this morning while I was doing work outside. Your piece on posing was great. I appreciate the effort to put a worthwhile podcast together each week.

David love your spunk but easy on the coffee

    Hi,

David mentionned some photo examples on cards from a famous photograph, to be used as inspiration when in the field, thought I would find them in the show notes, can you tell me what it is?

Love the show, you guys rock.

    Hi Francois,

I just saw your question & the photographer is Jerry Ghionis & here is the page that has the Picpockets that I was referring to: https://www.theicesociety.com/?page=72.

I've used them from time-to-time & they're great. With the information on the back of the card - they can easily help you come up with some great shots when you're running into a creative block or looking for a new shot to try out.

I hope you're having a great week & let me know what you think - cheers!

Enjoyed the show. Never thought of given the groomsmen poses names - I love it! - and easy to remember. Agree Jerry G's cards are great. But only as artistic reminders and not as a fast, repeatable process. For easily repeatable - in steps Monte Zucker, god rest his soul, and his followers. Monte believed in taking a series of repeatable timeless poses and then add/build upon that additional unique artistic shots. Doug Gordon is the man to check out in this area now and sells card decks (similar to Jerry G). Check it out at douggordonworkshops.com
Doug can shoot 50 great B&G poses in five minutes with his flow system. Takes me ten (I can live with that) . These are fantastic poses. Oddly enough he doesn't have the bridal party or family flow posing in a deck. These he sells on video. Again he shows the whole process as a flow - a very fast and repeatable flow. I can't recommend a better product for posing at weddings. Buy the stuff at shows and get huge discounts.
